阴XOR阳 is the first recorded onchain Neural Network (AI) in history. It resides inside a handcrafted Ethereum smart contract containing a three-neuron AI.
Left and Right hemispheres are programmable by both artist and owner, producing three visual states.
Yin (阴), Yang (阳), or blended XOR: YinYang (阴阳), based on real-time contract inputs.

Inside the Smart Contract sits the tiniest possible AI: three neurons arranged in two layers that together learn the XOR rule: “one or the other, but not both.”
When researchers in 1969 showed a single layer couldn’t model XOR, that limitation drove the move to multi-layer networks, the blueprint for modern AI.
Here that historic pivot is distilled into a handful of immutable variables anyone can inspect. The very XOR signals that power the network also act as a digital handshake, linking artist and collector through the same logic that birthed today’s computing.
阴XOR阳 is the first ever onchain AI.
On screen the logic appears as a live Yin-Yang. Nahiko may turn his half light or dark & the collector may do the same with theirs.
Only when the halves settle into opposite states does the symbol achieve perfect balance.
Each independent toggle updates the global state and archives a new entry, transforming the piece into an open diary of harmony (or tension) between artist and patron.
